A quick note about why Tsunami
will not
join
The Better Business Bureau
A long time ago in another career, I
had to sue the BBB for payment of a very large multimedia presentation
that my company produced for them on a yearly basis. When their
Directorship changed hands, Bob Andrews, the current administrator of
the Oregon / Washington Bureau, decided unilaterally that the
presentation should be a gift and flatly refused to pay the bill. After
a month of negotiating got us nowhere, I turned the invoice over to Milliken and
Michaels for collection and received almost all of what was owed (save
for the very small fee they took because they thought it would be quite
a conversation piece to collect from the BBB!) We get calls from the BBB
several times a year telling us what a clean record we have and how it
would benefit us to join, and then I tell the story again. . .
and politely decline :)-

Disclaimers
Tsunami, or any of it’s authorized agents shall not be held liable for
injury, or loss of use of your spa or other incidental or consequential
costs, expenses or damages, which may include but are not limited to;
the removal or reinstallation of the spa from a deck (permanent or
temporary), custom fixture, gazebo or housing. This contract contains
the entire agreement between parties. No other warranties, expressed or
implied, are valid unless in writing at time of purchase by an
authorized representative of Tsunami Spas, Inc. No agent, dealer,
distributor, Service Company, or other party is authorized to change,
modify or extend the terms of the
Warranty in any manner
whatsoever. For purposes of warranty the legal definition of
"Lifetime" is (7) seven years from date of delivery to the original
invoiced owner.
Warnings
A
warning sticker has been attached to your spa
addressing the following:
PREVENT DROWNING: 1) Supervise children at all times. 2) Attach spa
cover after each use. 3) Spa heat can cause Hyperthermia and
unconsciousness.
4) Spa heat in conjunction with alcohol, drugs, or medication can cause
unconsciousness. PREVENT ELECTROCUTION 1) Never place any electric
appliance within 5 feet of spa.
Payment Policy
All
Spas must be paid in full, or all contracts / credit apps and paperwork
signed, before a spa will be released.
All "Sale Prices" valid with new purchases only and during the
advertised period. Please refresh your internet browser.
Restocking and Service Call Policy
All signed work
orders are considered contracts. Work will be done exactly as described
on your work order. No other additions
or subtractions to the work order will be performed other than by the
written approval of both parties. A 15% restocking fee will be
charged on all cancelled orders that have passed the design stage and
entered the build stage, (drilling, assembly, etc.)
Service calls on any brand under warranty or not may be assessed a trip
fee based on mileage. Service Call fees are billed hourly and begin when
a technician reaches your property. Tsunami Spas does not bill; payment
is required before the technician leaves your property. You may pay by
check, cash or VISA over the phone. Special Orders must be paid for in
advance and are subject to standard 15% restocking fees.
Delivery Policy
Many
companies offer free delivery, many of which are curbside only. Part of
our service is helping you contract for delivery and placement
which means not just dropping the spa off in the driveway but actually
placing it at it's final destination.
We will
help you contract with one of several independent movers for a
Normal Delivery, i.e. a normal-sized spa up to 8', under 800 lbs
that can be delivered with 2 people and has safe and reasonable access
and terrain, with no demolition / construction involved and within 30
miles of Vancouver, WA.
You
may incur additional fees that you will negotiate with the delivery
company if additional people are needed because of the distance to your
home, terrain, access, size of spa or any other safety issues. Some
sites may need to have a spa "craned-in" by an outside contractor or
crane and operator that we will help you find.

full prior to the Same As Cash expiration date. Regular credit terms apply after
Same As Cash period. Terms subject to change without notice. See agreement for

finance charge: one dollar. Minimum payment: 4% of balance / month.
